The Yandex Start app has everything you need on one screen.

Yandex, similar to Bing and Google, is the leading media destination for Russians. In addition to its search engine feature, the Yandex app also offers various services such as free email, weather forcast, live traffic maps, music, videos, photo storage, and much more.

Everything you need on one screen: Alice voice assistant, detailed weather forecast, top news, transit map, and TV listings. Find information even faster with the smart search bar and voice search.

Smart camera. Point it at anything! It identifies items, tells you what it sees, and suggests where to buy the same thing. It also scans documents and translates text.

Caller ID. Turn on caller ID in the settings menu to see who’s calling, even if they’re not in your contacts. It relies on a database of more than 5 million organizations and user feedback to save you time and help avoid unwanted calls. Available on Android 6.0 and higher.

Convenient keyboard. Smart and accurate auto-correct, support for swipe and voice input, emoticons, GIFs and stickers, plus a built-in translator.

Russian-speaking voice assistant. Navigate your day with Alice — she can give you the weather or traffic info, suggest where to eat out or pick up groceries, set alarms and reminders, look something up online, or even tell you a story or chat about whatever’s on your mind. Alice is continually adapting with deep learning-based AI. To set Alice as your default assistant, open the Settings menu on your device, go to Assist & Voice Input and choose Yandex.

Smart devices. You can activate Yandex.Station in the Yandex app and control it with voice commands to dim the lights, turn on the TV, or make the music louder. Yandex Smart Home works with dozens of smart devices. To connect devices, select Devices in the settings menu.

Popular bloggers, movies, and TV shows. On-demand, high-quality video content. Yandex.Live offers more than 5,000 movies, cartoons, and TV series, both live and recorded, as well as posts from popular video bloggers.

Location-accurate weather forecast. See your local neighborhood forecast by the hour and for the week ahead with details like wind speed, atmospheric pressure, and humidity.

Top news. Follow local, regional, and world events, plus the latest in politics, economics, science, sports, and other areas.

Zen recommendations feed. Get the content you want. Yandex creates a personalized feed of articles, reviews, news, and videos. Mark the ones you like, and Zen will adapt to your preferences.

Financial indicators. Keep an eye on currency exchange rates, stock quotes, market indexes, and commodity prices.
