Weather Warner - Quick Informed of the Severe Weather Situation

The app offers simple and comfortable access to the mobile sides of the DWD (German Weather Service) on which the current weather and warnings of storms exist. There is also the current forest fire and a pollen forecast and now also a rain radar. The app also represents the current risk of forest fire and the UV index.

There are severe weather warnings for all counties and a weekly forecast of the possible storms (thunderstorms, hail, snow, ice, storm or whatever).

In addition, a background service can be activated that regularly checks the weather warnings and shows a storm warning on the cell phone display. The app does not have to be started. The region is used here that was selected in the regions window. A second region can be activated in the settings.

Warnings can also be shown in a widget. Only works if the app is not installed on the SD card. Update of the widget currently fixed 60 minutes.

The app currently only works for Germany.

This is not an official app of the DWD but only an optimized browser with practical additional functions.
