The official App of the Israeli Defense Forces.
"Pakal" is the main App of the IDF, housing all the official applications that were developed and will be developed by the IDF for the community of regular-service, career and reserve soldiers, new recruits and their families. Pakal's goal is to allow its users a quick and easy access with their smart-phones to a variety of services and information, which is expected to expand with time and through demand.
Pakal is a project led by the IDF Communications Directorate and Spokesperson's Unit in conjunction with other IDF branches, service-arms and corps. The application includes, among other things, up-to-date news from the IDF's official website, medical services information, a database of instructional information and a link to the wage payment systems for regular-service and career soldiers. New recruits will be able to enjoy easy and advanced access to the Recruitment website and soon will even receive updates as to their enlistment procedure and assignment, directly to their mobile devices.
