World’s 1st NEWS app which puts your SAFETY in your HAND

FOCUSNEWS.COM has done an exclusive tie-up with Tech Mahindra to integrate FIGHTBACK, India’s first mobile app for women’s safety which sends SOS alerts with “Tap of a Button” along with location information to user’s family and friends.

Focus News app will be the first not just in India but across the globe with such a real-time, practical feature which actually takes the fight for women’s safety to an entirely different level, much beyond the usual rhetoric. Nobody has ever tried it before, so this becomes a pioneering initiative of Focus News. (Note: FightBack feature is only available in India)

How To Use The App:

– After installing the app, Users will get the option to ‘Sign In To FightBack’ or ‘Continue To News’

– If Users choose the option ‘Continue To News’, they will be directed to the News Home Screen.

– Users can always choose to ‘Sign In To FightBack’ by visiting the ‘Settings’ of the app

– If Users choose the ‘Sign In To FightBack’ feature, they will have to agree on the Terms & Conditions and the Privacy Policy to proceed

– For the one-time registration process, Users need to provide Email ID, Mobile Number, Name and Password

– Users can add up to 5 contacts in order to send them an SMS on raising of ‘Panic SOS Alert’

– After successful login, Users can continue to browse news on the app

FightBack Features:

– Users can raise ‘Panic SOS Alert’ by pressing the phone power button 5 times consecutively

– The app comes with a ‘Panic SOS Alert’ widget which can be placed on the home screen of phone or tablet for one-click alert in case of distress

Prerequisite: Data/Network connectivity must be available on phone in order to use this app.

Registration: New Users are required to register themselves to use the ‘FightBack’ feature in this app

Help: On choosing this option, User help screen will be launched, explaining how to use this application
