FindmyPhoto is a mobile content search application for the Android platform developed in collaboration with Image, Video and Multimedia Systems Lab (http://www.image.ntua.gr) of National Technical University of Athens (NTUA).
It uses VIRaL (http://viral.image.ntua.gr), a photo search engine that can locate your own photos on the world map!
It also identifies landmarks and suggests 2 types of tags ("official" Wikipedia ones and what "people say") to be added automatically to your photo!
You may either upload a photo from your mobile data card collection or take a picture with the camera of your mobile phone and upload it instantly to get immediate search results.
FindmyPhoto also offers a set of similar - to the uploaded - photos, whereas VIRaL's state-of-the-art visual similarity algorithms ensure highly accurate results within seconds!
