CLX Caprini is an application based on the model created by Professor Joseph A. Caprini for evaluation and weighting of the main risk factors of ETV (venous thromboembolic disease) of patients undergoing surgical processes, which provides the antithrombotic prophylaxis regime recommended for each level of risk. This model has been included as one of the reference models in the recent update of the American College of Chest PhSysician (ACCP) 2012 guides for the prevention and treatment of the ETV.
