3D simulation of an ancient model Railroad with clockwork
3D simulation of the functionality of a clockwork of an antique sheet metal railway.
In the early 20th century, model railways had no electrical drive but clockwork. The functionality of the clockwork spring and the gear is demonstrated. Likewise, the way the hand lever works for the brake and the reverse ride.
The function model shown largely corresponds to a frizzy fandor #445 B-locomotive with a track width 32mm (track 0). This was built from 1932 to 1935 in the toy city of Nuremberg by Joseph Kraus & Co. (JKCO).
